We\u2019re seeking experienced machinists ready to help us deliver mission-critical components with speed, accuracy, and consistency.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who Are You?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You bring at least 2 years of experience setting up and operating CNC machines \u2014 including mills, lathes, and boring equipment.<\/li>\n<li>You can read and interpret complex blueprints, machining symbols, and geometric tolerancing.<\/li>\n<li>You understand the fundamentals of feeds, speeds, and cutting tools \u2014 and can adjust setups to maintain tight tolerances.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re organized, dependable, and safety-conscious.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re familiar with stainless steel machining and take pride in clean, accurate work.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re able to work independently, manage your time well, and support a team-based shop floor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What Will You Do?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Setup &amp; Operation<\/strong> \u2013 Prepare and operate multi-axis CNC machining centers to perform milling, drilling, boring, tapping, and facing operations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Quality Control<\/strong> \u2013 Inspect parts during and after machining using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure quality standards.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Programming Support<\/strong> \u2013 Interpret CNC programs and assist with troubleshooting or minor edits when needed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Preventative Maintenance<\/strong> \u2013 Perform routine oiling, cleaning, and machine upkeep to ensure optimal performance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Team Collaboration<\/strong> \u2013 Work closely with engineers, shop supervisors, and fellow machinists to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Safety &amp; Cleanliness<\/strong> \u2013 Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience or an Associate Degree in machining or equivalent trade training.<\/li>\n<li>Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Stainless steel or exotic metals experience (e.g., AL-6XN, Hastelloy\u00ae) preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift in a production environment with exposure to metal dust and shop noise.<\/li>\n<li>Mazak CNC Machines (5-axis experience a plus)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join Us?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Allegheny Bradford, we know our people are the backbone of our operation.
