You\u2019ll work alongside Engineering, Production, Sales, and other teams to develop designs that support the manufacturing of high-quality stainless steel process equipment used across industries such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and beverage, and chemical processing.<\/p>\n<p>If you enjoy combining technical skills with hands-on problem-solving in a collaborative manufacturing environment, we\u2019d love to hear from you!<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Do<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bring Designs to Life: Create 3D models and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.<\/li>\n<li>Turn Concepts Into Solutions: Review project specifications, design requirements, and P&amp;ID drawings to develop accurate, functional designs.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate Across Teams: Work with Engineering, Production, Sales, Estimating, Purchasing, and Quality to solve problems and keep projects moving forward.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Quality and Accuracy: Create and validate bills of materials (BOMs), review drawings, and verify designs for completeness and accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Support Custom Equipment Design: Help develop and refine mechanical designs for pressure vessels and other process equipment to meet customer and engineering requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Apply Engineering Standards: Use applicable design codes and industry standards, including ASME Section VIII and ASME BPE, to support safe, compliant designs.<\/li>\n<li>Improve Design Solutions: Evaluate design requirements, recommend product modifications, and help resolve technical challenges from initial concept through final design.<\/li>\n<li>Work With Customers: Participate in design reviews and help ensure the finished design aligns with customer expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Support Manufacturing Success: Assist with component selection, design estimates, reassembly plans, and other projects that help keep operations running smoothly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Bring<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Mechanical Drafting, Mechanical Design, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with 3D modeling using parametric CAD software.<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.<\/li>\n<li>Good written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to solve problems, manage priorities, and work independently while collaborating with a team.<\/li>\n<li>An interest in mechanical design, manufacturing, and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience That Will Set You Apart<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, Division 1, and ASME BPE.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of pressure vessel design, mechanical fabrication, and manufacturing processes.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar business software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join ABC?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Allegheny Bradford, we know our people are the backbone of our operation.
